    Skt300 tapping help

    We purchased a Hyundai kia skt300 lathe but can not get the g84 cycle to work. Can someone with a Hyundai kia machine please post there g code with a g84 cycle so we can see what's been done wrong. Sorry I can't post ours I don't have access to it currently.

    did you find it out?

    you need to command depending on which spindle
    M3 Sxxx
    M122 (main spindle rigid tap mode (maybe on the SKT300 not needed))
    M129 Sxxx (rigid tap mode)
    G84xxx
    G80
    M128 (rigidtap mode cancel)
    M123 (cancel main spindle

    or

    M122 (main spindle rigid tap mode (maybe on the SKT300 not needed))
    M3 Sxxx
    M129 Sxxx (rigid tap mode)
    G84xxx
    G80
    G128 (rigidtap mode cancel)
    M123 (mainspindle rigid tap mode cancel)
