    Well. 2x uc400 runaway events

Well I've had a crap day with the uc400 and uccnc today. Mashed up two pieces of stock when uccnc failed to stop at the coordinate and dro continued on. Have run the program many times with uc300 and uc400 and it runs fine.

Funny never once had this issue with the usb uc300.

Got to be software issue right if the dro continued.

The line both occasions was diffrent and both were simple X y moves.

Hope uccnc is now not another cnc control software that corrupts itself like Mach 3. Without swearing I could not explain how I feel right now.

Haha now my other machine has done it with a completely diffrent program. What is going on. These machine have run perfectly up until now.

They were both updated with latest version a little while back.

Uccnc Run time on both machines was around 20 hours and they both had a run away in just minutes of each other on the last occasion. Restarted uccnc and re ran. Now it's passed the line where it had the issue no problems.

Uccnc doesn't like to run over 20hours it seems.

What windows version are you running? If Windows automatic updates are turned on it will eat up allot of CPU time when it goes looking for updates. Had the same problem with Mach 3 until I turned off updates and disabled internet connection. I would send a email to Balazs at CNC drives describing the problem with as much detail as possible.

This had occurred to me. However one PC has no internet connection :s one is running win 7 the other Windows 10. For them both to fail on the same day is very odd.

    Talking with Balazs atm.

    Cheers

That sounds like a possible memory leak issue. You could launch "event viewer" and check your system and application logs around the time (or before) the error occurred.

I'm excited to get my new uc400 controller. I'm so tired of all the bugs in Mach3 that have zero chance of ever being resolved.
