Help trouble shoot gecko 320x when I turn on z axis wants to take off and run constantly
did you check the encoder per step 3 in the instructions (before connecting the motor)
it sounds like the encoder isn't working - could be defective or lost power or bad wiring or bad connector to the encoder

This is not during initial set up been running machine a while we will check this out although it still does this with encoder unpluged
That's what happens when the encoder is not working, Unplugging it is the same as it not working.
