    Alarm 1001 during probing, VM-2

At the end of probe calibration I get alarm 1001. Program works OK, but at the end, instead message PROGRAM END, I can see RUNNING, and then alarm 1001. May be problem with macros? How to fix it?

Try reloading all of the macro programs for your probe. Most of the times when the probing routines are having strange errors, reloading the probing macro programs fixes the issues.

I tried to reload few versions of macro programs, but it doesn't help. Periodically appears alarm PROBE OPEN, when start probing.

First the problem was at the end of the cycle, now it is at the beginning.........

Just to be clear, we are talking about the OTS (wireless table mounted tool setter) correct?

If the batteries are weak or if you have any obstructions to the line of sight IR signal, such as a coolant line, both can cause your PROBE OPEN alarm.

Did you try reloading specific individual macro programs or did you erase all macro programs for the probe and reload?

    Thanks all for help,
I have TS27R, but I loaded mistakenly program for wireless probe. I changed program, and now probe works correct. Wired probe always "open", wireless are closed after probing.
