Cycle Time for Rapid Moves and Tool Changes V9.1.1012 Turn

Thought I'd cross post here as well. The traffic on yahoo groups does not seem to be any more current than this forum.

Could someone tell me if there is a parameter somwhere to define the speed of the rapid moves or the time for the turret to change tools so that the estimated cycle time is calculated more accurately? When I look at the table presented in View->Cycle Time Data it appears that the rapid distance is presented correctly however the time estimate is 0 seconds. It also appears tool changes are generically assigned a time of 1 second.

I suppose that an acceleration rate should also be defined for each axis as well, however the algorithm is probably not that sophisticated for an estimate.

    Cycle Time Evaluation

In response to recent interest I will post an example of
a Post Processor which produces an estimated cycle time,
    explanatory notes will be included.
