Question Air pump for oil mist coolant (for DIY CNC router)

    Hi, folks,

I have just finished my CNC router, and now come to the conclusion that for milling aluminium (especially soft 1050) oil mist system is a must.

In EU there are a lot of online shops that sell very cheap Chinese HAILEA piston oil-less compressors.
    For example ACO-318, 60 L/min, 0.02 MPa.
There are others, more powerful models from the same manufacturer if necessary.

    http://www.hailea.com/e-hailea/product3/ACO-318.htm

I'm going to use it with receiver and automatic on/off pressure sensor.
Is his pump suitable for oil mist system, or I must look for something else?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion(s) !

I've also looked at that air pump, but the bigger version with 70l/m ACO 328 and trying to figure out if it's enough airflow/pressure to clear the chips,

I'm mostly after the chip clearing, and some lubrication and cooling just for tool life,

I consider to buy one just for testing purposes,

Have you bought one? And got any real life experiences with the pump?

    Hello

I was wondering if you had any luck with this? I currently use a silent compressor which is actually noisy inside a flat. Also it is around 1kw and generates lot of heat too. It would be great to switch to above pump if possible.

    Cheers

Dunno. What pressure and what air flow?

    Cheers
