Way To Prevent HAAS VF-2 From Running If Collet Isn't Engaged?

    Hi everyone,

New here and was hoping maybe someone could shed some light on an issue we recently had come up. I'm working on a 2012 model HAAS VF-2 with a 5 Axis Rotary Table. The table features a collet switch for each fixture located below the table and we recently had an issue with an operator sending in parts unclamped. Is there a way/parameter/setting to prevent the machine from running if the collet isn't engaged?

    Thanks,

How are these switches wired in?
You should be able to write a little macro program to look at each switch to verify that the part is clamped or unclamped prior to running.

Need more info on your setup though.
