    Swappig Controller TB6600—4 AXIS V2.0. for TB6560_T4_VF

I have a CNC (CNC Mogul) machine that I need to swap out the controller on. I burned a chip on my TB6560_T4_VF. I was going to replace the chip but the bolts holding the board to the enclosure were stripping so I felt it might be better just to replace the controller with a updated TB6600—4 AXIS V2.0. I have received the 6600 and am not sure on a couple of things and hoped to get a little advice. I am not a electronics person.

The connections are relatively the same as you can see from the pictures. (6560 pics have blue dip switches, 6600 has red). However, while the X, Y, Z and A connections are in the same place the A+, A-, B+ and B- designations are reversed. Reading left to right the new 6600 designations are as above (A+, A-, B+ and B-). The old 6560 reading from left to right is B-, B+, A-, A+. I'm thinking I should manually cut the pins off and seat them as they are on the 6560. Wrong?
The second question is the DIP pins. The 6560 (blue) dip pins have eight switches and the 6600 has six. You can see from the pics how they are set. What do I do there?

Any help will be appreciated. I'm just a hobbyist that enjoys making stuff on the my CNC machine. Thank you in advance for any help.

If you're using Mach3, leave them as they are. If you need to, you can change the direction in software.
Not sure what the DIP switches do, as I've never used one of those. Do you have a link to a manual?
