HVAC Software to export DXF files

I need someone to suggest an alternative to the $1,995.00 FOREMAN HVAC DesignEdge software upgrade sold by PlasmaCam.

I like their tables, and I like their DE software for most things. I have purchased nearly every upgrade they offer, and I own three of their tables, with a view toward purchasing four more of them soon, but I just can't justify spending $2,000.00 for this upgrade.

I'm not saying that Foreman isn't worth the money. I'm saying I want to be able to cut ducting with a plasma table with less expensive software.

What other choices do I have? I'm going to put a lot of ducting into FrankenBarn this winter when I install the HVAC system, so I figure I should make the ducts right here.

I also invite you to tell me why I should BUY the Foreman software at $2K if you think this is the best choice. Is it far superior to less expensive software? Is it more user friendly or better in some other way?

    All input is appreciated.

    Joe

    Joe,

According to the HVAC's guys the foreman software is a very solid industry leading program, it is sold by plasmacam.
Here is a web-link. You can even take a test drive of it for free:
Design2Fab > Software > Hypertherm CAD/CAM Nesting Software for cutting and metal fabrication
