CNC 2020B and CNC USB Controller Setting

Hi guys, I got this 2020B CNC machine, and this morning I also purchased CNC USB Controller software, but I'm having issue configuring the machine, because there's no manual for this setting.

So after I tried to get my first PCB with this machine, I ended up with miniature version of that board.

After that I start playing with setting little bit and I managed to get it little bit bigger by changing step\unit setting and acceleration, but to be honest I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing since I'm still newbie.

So I was wondering if there's anyone who know exact setting for this machine which can help me to configure it, or if someone can share their setting file (since CNC USB Controller have that option to export\import setting).

Btw I don't know if this will also help but it won't hurt to have it here so here's the boards which comes with this machine:

    Thanks in advance!

You need to find the right step settings.
This depends on the steps per revolution of the stepper motor. Which is mostly 200 steps per revolution
Next the driver ( your green board ) has a setting for micro stepping ( half 1/4 1/8 etc. ) Full means one step input gives one step on the motor
half two steps on the input is one full step on the motor and so on
and last you need to know the displacement of the spindle per revolution.
lets assume you use 1/8 step on the driver board, you have 200 steps per rev motor and a spindle with 5mm per revolution.
    Now your setting on the USB-CNC software should be ( 200 x 8 ) / 5 which gives 320 steps per mm ( this is a good setting )
If you don't know your spindle, you have to measure and calculate.

That is such a crime for the chinese to steal CNC USB's software and controller circuit design and give it away with their machines.

Re: CNC 2020B and CNC USB Controller Setting

    Hello
I mounted the CNC 2020B and I am installing the software.
I connected the PC with USB cable to the control board.
I follow the instructions in the CD:
\ Software \ ArtCAM ProArtCAM .doc
    I run \ Software \ ArtCAM Pro \ pdxdac7 \ install.exe but this error message:
CAN NOT OPERATE THIS APP IN YOUR PC.

    What software have you installed?
    Can you help me please?

I looked at the site from Artcam. pls do the same and verify if your PC is compatible. This software needs a rather powerfull PC with a not common screen resolution 1920 x 1200 most 'pc screens here are full HD 1920 x 1080 ( or even lower ) I have some drawing in Gsimple , Inventor and Solidworks. The latest two made by students who did this for me.

    Solved many problems:
    1. Installed CNC USB CONTROLLER
    2. Installed CNC USB CONTROLLER DRIVER (*)

In CNC USB CONTROLLER I'm setting manually parameters.
Anyone knows the settings for CNC 2020B?
Or you may post the settings file?

    Tks
