    Solidworks help

    I know this does not pertain to machining-but it is keeping me
    from my machining-?? when opening a file how can i change to
    a Thumbnail view instead of a part icon to identify the file--
    would appreciate any help------rckdef

    Hi rckdef,
    I think you are referring to being able to see the small view of the part when you are in solidworks. If so,
    I just change the view setting for the folder the files are in, to medium or whatever size your system will support to display the icon as a mini preview.
