New to a waterjet..Just some general questions

We will be getting a Omax 1515 in a few weeks. I was wondering if switching materials(plastic to chromoly to stone) would case any sort of issues? 1" thick chromoly will be the main material to be cut. What does anyone have to barrel it off and have it hauled off? It will be operating in a small room 25"x14". Is ventilation going to be an issue?

Room size shouldn't be an issue. The process will produce heat (high pressure pumps=hot water) so having some kind simple window or door will be good to have. It's a waterjet, so it's going to splash and spray, and everything around the machine including the machine is going to get covered in a thin layer of garnet if you don't keep on top of cleaning.
Material switching (soft to hard) is what waterjets are great at. You just need to program your cutting speeds and garnet flow rates to adjust accordingly.
Garnet removal is a chore. Without a dedicated automatic GRS (garnet removal system) you will have to get that garnet out eventually, and pay to have it disposed of. Look up waste disposal services in your area and start getting quotes from people.
I'm currently looking at the BART system for use on our old Flow Mach 3 to suck the used garnet out of the tank without having to remove slats and shovel it out manually. Trust me the garnet pile built up at bottom of tank is one of the worst mixes of dense sticky mud and metal bits you'll ever encounter in a civilian environment.
Good luck with your new machine!

Not sure about your area but in some places they consider the used garnet hazardous waste because of the metal content, better look into that.

If your going to do a lot of cutting ... that tank full of water and garnet holds a lot of heat so, yes ventilation will be an issue.

Also, if your pump is water-cooled you need to get a chiller for it.

Not cheap, but neither is dumping water down the drain.

It's going to be pretty noisy in there too ...

... and I hope your door is large enough to allow easy access for the machine components and the largest work-piece you plan on parking on the table.
