    KIA LATHE SKT21LMS FANUC IO-TC G75 CAN CYCLE NEED DWELL HELP

    hi we have a kia lathe 21lms fanuc io-tc

    we using CAN cycle for grooving G75 and need a dewell on the bottom of the groove
    (groove botton x96. metric.)
    ex:
    X100.
    G75 R7.
    G75 X96.7 Z259.625 P1500 Q 0775 R0 F.1
    ( Z259.625 =PITCH Q.775MM )
    i try to put a dewell BEFORE AND after the
    G75 R.7
    G04 P3000 AND IT NOT WORKING
    any sugestiong thanx

    Have you tried to use the X command rather than the P?

    what do you mean X command

    replace P for as X
    can't cause i already have X96.7 2 X can't be on the same line

    I meant try the G04 X3.0 for 3 second dwell.

    not working i think the dwell have to be on the same line of G75 X96.7 Z259.625 P1500 Q 0775 R0 F.1

    I do not believe that the G75 cycle has the ability to add a dwell in the cycle.

    Some of the other cycles such as G83 have the ability but are typically used for drilling.
