Okay, I'm swapping to a C10 so I can use LinuxCNC.
I've got the e-stop and the step/dir from the C25 that was on the smooth stepper swapped over.
Now I need to wire from 9 pin input and the PWM.
Here's where I'm stuck:
This is the C10 that I bought:
This is what I need to hook up from the PWM board:
These wires, red black white green in the cable and then a loose black wire.
And here they are at the other end on the PWM board.
I am trying to figure out where each of the above wires need to go to on the C10 board.
I've also got a red wire that's daisy chained on my controllers that still needs a home on the C10:
The last thing I am lost on is the 9 pin that is bringing the signal from the limit switches. I asked the builder if he has any kind of a wiring diagram from these that I can use and he doesn't seem to.
I'm assuming the black in the top row is a common ground (all 3 are juntioned in pin 1 on the small board that the cable is attached to on the back of my mill?) and then the 2-3-4 (blue) seem to be the axis? I have pins for x y and z limit switches on my C10 above. Just don't know where these go. The 4th blue wire on the end is a loss. I have no idea what that's for. The bottom red and black run to the PWM board IIRC.
I'm sure these are stupid questions, but like I said, this is all new to me. I've never built or modified a mill before. I am familiar with programming and operation, but this is foreign to me.
Thanks in advance for any help!
