lol, I has a similar situation.. one of our customers decided it would be cheaper to cancel our long running contract and ship it to China insted (cos they work for less).

Well, after about 2 months and 400 odd reject components, they came back to us for correct components (read "to drawing"). They simply could not make them.

Needless to say I recomended that we renegotiate the contrat since we had kept the price the same for 3 years... oh compounded interest.. how I love it

Now see that is great!!! I would have done the exacted same..... i hope you charged them a helthy bit of intrest, and i bet they have not tried to send anything to China

68 today. I spent 13 years working in R & D Wind Tunnel work and then went back to school to get a second degree in Technology Education. I taught CAD, Architectural drafting and some engineering math for 29 years and then retired a few years ago. Over that time I built up my shop and that has been my interest over all these years. Very true. I'm trying the exercise method of staving off the ravages of age. I keep telling myself the more I do it the easier it is supposed to get... but it doesn't. I also tell myself that the more I do it the better I'm supposed to feel... but I can't really tell about that one. The one that scares me is I also tell myself that if I don't do it now I may not be able to in another 20 years. That's the one that really keeps me motivated.
