    What you need is a real CAD/CAM software that will generate g-code with proper offsets. I suggest trying CamBam, it's a great program for 2D and 2.5D work (including basic engraving, which is what you are doing). It is quite simple to use yet powerful. Not free, but the trial terms are very generous (fully functional for 40 program launches).
