    Omio X8-2200L vs Jinan LXG0609 ?

    Hi,

Does someone know how the Omio X8-2200L would compare to the LXG0609 ?

From the specification, something abvious is that the Omio is made from aluminium (weight about 80kg) when the jinan is made of steel (200kg). Given positionning accuracy is a bit different, but probably can't be trusted anyway The spindle seems to be able to turn slower on the jinan (great for drilling holes). I don't know how the "Hiwin Rail Linear Bearings and Ball Screw" would compete to the "HG20 Linear Guideway".

On the link I provided, the spindles is 1.5kW for the jinan vs 2.2kW for the omio, but 2.2kW and 3kW are available.

    Thank you,
    fabien.

It looks like only Y-axis use Hiwin rails, while the other two axes use regular linear bearings, which is not as good as HG20 linear rails.

The model I linked seems to have linear bearings, but they also have a $2700 model with same reference which (on the picture) has 2 rails on each axis, and (in the specs) has a 2.2kW motor :
