Just got a Flash Laser K40D machine.

I bought this specific machine because I wanted air assist, adjustable table height and better control panel.

I imported it directly from Flash Laser, the machine is of a less refined finish than if you are used to Western machine tools, however it worked right off the bat, and cut parts.

I thought I would carry out a mirror alignment and there was a step change in performance, then I studied how to determine the focal length and set material height for different thicknesses, this understanding gave another big change in performance.

I am able to cut at up to 100mm/sec in 1/16" balsa wood, 50mm/sec in 1/4" balsa wood and 15mm/sec in 1/4" poplar ply.

Also engraved on anodised aluminium with no pre treatments.

I think with these pesky little 40W lasers that everything has to be set right to get good results.

The Corel laser works but is a little tricky to understand with the poor instructions that are supplied.
