Hi everyone ... I'm new here, in need of some help. I have a 60W Chinese/Redsail look-a-like machine (off eBay!!) that's been in use for less than a year ... I was cutting acrylic today and there was a loud 'pop' from the machine, followed by no cutting progress. I paused and checked, and found the end of the CO2 tube had broken off ... don't know if it was an overheat, or it just wore out ... But I need to get it going again. Any suggestions on a better replacement unit? I'm in the USA. and any other advice totally welcomed too! I've been scanning the forum, a little overwhelmed with the amount of info!!!

This is Emily from SPT laser, CO2 laser tube manufacturer.

If the tube end is broken, just get a replace the broken tube and get a new tube.

60w machine, your tube length is 1200mm or 1250mm?

Check out LightObject. Marco has reasonably priced tubes and great customer service. Problem may have started in the power supply so check that out also. May need one of those as well.
