    SKT 25 AL-64 alarm

Came into work this morning and the battery was dead on the turret amplifier. Replaced the battery and re homed the turret to the correct position. Now every time I am calling up a tool change I end up getting the AL-64 turret time out alarm. Re homed the turret many times to try and fix the issue but nothing seems to be taking care of it. I do not know what else to try.

I can rotate the turret in jog mode just fine it only happens when I call up a tool change. I can here it un-clamp, rotate, clamp, and pin lock. but it sits for about 20 sec then gives me the alarm.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi

    check if the signals
    X10.6 T-ULS TURRET UNCLAMP LS
    X10.7 T-CLS TURRET CLAMP LS
    are working properly.

also i´m not sure on this turret,

    but check the PMM PARAMETER
System -> press -> until you find PMM on the softkeys (if this is available, you need to set inside PMM screen the Parameter 11 bit 0 to 1 (bit 7 should be also 1)
if you don´t have this PMM screen, you need to set on Parameter 1815 the Bit 4 (On the E Axis) to 1 (bit 5 should be 1, too.

Be sure the Turret is on position 1 when you set these parameters.

Parameter 11 bit 0 to 1 (bit 7 should be also 1). Thank you! This was my problem. Apparently I had set bit 7 to a 0.
