    Question mitsubishi meldas 64

    i lost my back-up battery (3.6v).
    replaced it... now my machine reads in japanese.
    i can't read japanese. any ideas how to get the parameters back in.
    it's an akira seike mill and the people at People Tech don't seem to want to help.

    i called mitsubishi and will be contacting the Mt. Vernon office tomorrow morning.
    I will post what they can do for my problem.

    You should check the forum. I've seen the same problem posted, and they speak of modyfing the #1043 parameter (language). (And how to do it by memory).Good luck with that.

    Since you are using the same controller as me... do you have any idea if the device in/out port (by default set at 0) can be put back to 0 if they were accidentaly changed? I can't manage to do so, and therefore can't establish a communication. Thanks

    How did you go getting this fixed? Where I work has the same drama, and we got a tech out to fix it. He couldn't access the option parameters (first 16 parameters). He thinks there may be a password on it for these. Anybody have any ideas
