Question External manipulation of programs in control memory

Is there a way to write/delete/rename/copy/move files from machine memory programmatically?

    For example:
If a file is in the netshare can you move/copy it in to machine memory, run it, and delete it at the end somehow unattended? Either using a program on the control or by some sort of external software?

So far, everyone is telling me it can't be done. :tired:

    Thanks,
Seems like a more official answer when it comes from a guy named "haastec"

Haastec is the real deal. I take what he says as gospel. The communications on these machines (all CNC machines as far as I know) are ridiculous at best when compared to what you can do on a $300 PC. Might as well just get used to it.

I am not sure about that, as I am wrong plenty of times, but thanks for the props!
