    how use G1 code without spindle rotation FANUC OTD lathe

    warmly welcome
    Machine lathe on FANUC OTD
    I have to use handle for rod. but when am using G1 code without spindle rotation
    the machine not move. I use this program:

    M10 chuck clamp
    M19 spindle orient
    M11 chuck unclamp
    G1 Z 50.0 F200.0

    where i can change parameter for this operation?
    I try to chcange 24#2 SCTO not checked speed arrival signal, but no results

    please help me

    Lathes are normally set for feed per REV ( G99 )...... this means spindle MUST be turning for anything to feed

    Try setting feed per MINUTE ( G98 )

    Verify the correct codes with your manual

    the chuck must be clamped or it will never work
    G97M5
    M19
    G97S0M3
    G98
    G1Z50.F200.
