    torch makes steppers move with MACH3 not running?

    Get M03 and M05 firing the relay!!! except........pc goes blank for a couple seconds, z axis motor starts to move with no command, mach3 resets??? plug plasma in to its own oulet, isolate plasma work from machine table, plug computer into a separate oulet, reconnect torch trigger switch, power machine, plasma torch, turn on computer but dont start mach3, walk torch as far away from machine as i can, squeeze torch trigger, z axis motor starts moving??????? mach3 isn't even running????
    any advise?

    Are you running shielded cables that are only connected to ground at the driver side?

    Someone said they grounded their table with a ground rod it that solved their issues.
