need help... All the data on the HD from the Agiecut 250 (1994), may an image or like a zip-file.

HDD description: AGIE, Agiematic CF, PEC-07 mit FW11.01 and JP ver 2.1, for CF 50-70, Id.Nr. 679774.0, 05/93

Define broken. The system doesn't boot, the Compact Flash disk won't read even externally, the CNC software doesn't run ????? Need more info.

all of them...
Booting not possible, take out information outside (with a hdd case) not possible. Is not a CF, is an older 170MB IDE HDD...
I think was working with IBMDOS5.0. So, what to do..?

Options:
1) Purchase new hard drive and software retrofit from the manufacturer.
2) Send the Hard drive out for Data Recovery and then with the recovered software set up a new hard drive.
3) Clone a hard drive from a similar machine.
4) Retrofit the system for a new control.
5) Investigate if another software system (Mach3 et al...) can be adapted.
6) Other
These are the options that come to mind immediately. In all likely hood, the motherboard will not accept a hard drive larger than 250 MB, so you will need to perform a partitioning operation on it. The system will probably boot from a DR Dos 7 operating system. Do you have a backup of the software used to run the machine (Not the DOS operating system, but the CNC software itself)? If so, partition and format a drive, load DR Dos 7 on it and restore your back up and all is well. You will absolutely need the services of a computer tech to do this.
Option 2, sending the hard drive out for data recovery, is going to be the quickest and most expedient way to recover your system, provided that there are no issues with the remainder of the control. Ask the Vendor to create a new hard drive for you in the process. In your case the most feasible candidate for replacement is a disk on module of 250 Mb size. The service won't be cheap, but the disk on module will be.
As for the other options, while self explanatory, they are neither quick nor cheap.

Recovery is not possible...
I will try with DRDOS 7.0.
I have only a copy of the harddrives (all 4 partitions -- not clone or image).
Like on the foto attached is the root (C:\ ) and the folder CDOS.

The information with the max. capasitiy of 250MB is very important, because, i was trying with a 20GB HDD..

So, i need to reduce the capasity of them to 200MB, yes..? And format in FAT?

I would recommend a Disk On Module (DOM) vice a standard hard drive. and FAT is the partition structure you want. After that standard hard drive formatting rules apply.

Mittlerweile habe ich es geschafft, die "alte" Festplatte wieder zu beleben. D,E und F konnte ich retten,
C wurde mir aus Konya von einer Agiecut 150 (auch aus 1993) als Kopie (nicht Image oder ISO) zur
Verfügung gestellt.
Habe PC-DOS 5.0 (IBM) installiert und die alten Daten auf die Partitionen kopiert.
Config.sys und Autoexec.bat angepasst. Hat erst nicht geklappt, doch nach Booten von A und Ablauf von
C:\Start001.bat kam die Steuerung mit AGIECUT.EXE
Muss also noch einiges anpassen...
