I build a profile using DCAD, set up the NC profiles, and go to the turning module.

There, I setup the machine type, all tools, and turning operations, goto, etc.

The Run shows the resulting cut.

Then I would like to run a 3d simulation.

I select Execute | 3d Machine tool Simulation, and then use ST_Lathe.ppr

DCAM replies "The Simulator data has been created."

I click OK to run the simulation, but instead, mwSimulator replies


"Error decoding tool select command line.
TURN/TOOL/SELECT/1, TURNING TOOL
System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "" to type 'Integer' is not valid...

and a whole bunch of Microsoft VisualBasic exception information.

How to get a simple simulation to run?

This doesn't happen when running a milling simulation.

Files were sent. Have you any idea why the 3d lathe simulation fails, while the mill simulation example works fine?
