    1746 ALARM-A Chuck Miss Clamp 1

    who is miss Clamp 1 ? 1st clamped wife of Chuck Norris

    what i don't get is the connection between that and Okuma ...

    It means that when the chuck is clamped (hydraulically) that the machine has not seen the clamp prox indicate chuck is in the clamped position.
    To fix the problem, you have to adjust the clamp/unclamp prox switches at the back end of your spindle.
    They are usually mounted on an adjustable screw to allow you to change positions as needed.
