Slit Saw - want to ref top of saw and not the bottom

I'm trying to cut a part off of the stock piece at the bottom of the part. I want the top of the saw to be used as the cutting point and not the bottom.

The default settings have the saw cutting into the part instead of under. I'm using version 10 with the latest updates.

I've tried using the Tool Point in the Tool table to try and offset this but it has no affect.:drowning:

    Any guidance would be helpful.

If no other way, adding a false length to the tool my achieve your goal, but this seems like cheating.

Set up tool with the diameter and height at top of saw blade as any other tool.
Setup a 2d contour operation by selecting the bottom edge of the part and then set that as top level and then set bottom level the thickness of the arbor saw blade added to top level. Distance is also set to thickness of blade.

easiest way is contact point (below tool image on left)

Choose the curve that's on the top then of the slot.

Also, try the T Slot Level feature added in an update of 10.

Both methods worked like a charm. I had thought that I had previously tried the "Contact Point" height, doesn't matter, I got it now, Thanks!!!!
