Post GRBLGRU v3.6 is not working

HI guys, I'm new to this forum and I'm in trouble with the GRBLGRU v3.6 because it is not connecting with my arduino (which is working fine with the Universal gcode sender and GRBL controller), i dont know why i'm getting this error and the user manual should be updated to the latest version or at least let the version of the software which is used in the manual available for download. Please guys.....

Re: GRBLGRU v3.6 is not working

    Hi Rudhraa,

sorry, I've seen your post just now.

You are right. The documentation file 'GrblGru Manual.pdf', available with the menu item
Help-GrblGru Manual, is not up to date. But the the section 16 'Controller Connetion Grbl/TinyG', beginning at page 52 is still actual.
I've changed nothing at the communication since long time.

There are 2 important things for the correct communication with GRBL:
    1. Be sure that your Grbl version is 0.9g or higher. That's because I fixed the baudrate to 115200
    2. Set $10 = 2 (status report mask)

Open the both controller windows, to watch the sending and receiving protocol. If you set the 'Command line' control, you can use GrblGru in the 'GCode sender mode' like the 'Universal gcode sender'. But you can see also the 3D machine movements. (see attached pic1.jpg)
If you load a Gcode file or start a macro, you can watch all commands. (see attached pic2.jpg)

Please see the manual for details about selecting the right COM port and controller.

If you will still get problems, please inform me. Unfortunately I'm out this weekend, but I'll answer at monday.
    Sure to fix the problem.

Thanks, for giving GrblGru a try
