Is there a way to change the start point on an Advanced Pocket, Adaptive Roughing Machining Strategy. I am profiling the part before I face off the back of some irregular shaped parts that are bolted to a fixture. There are four parts per fixture and the tool is gouging into the stock on the part located to the left. The dashed line represents the stock I used to make the profile. I know I can just face them off without profiling them but that creates a problem when the slug gets thin and breaks off. I want the toolpath to start on the end of the part where I have put the points on the drawing as opposed to the left side of the part. I am using V27

You can not choose s start point for the adaptive pocketing. You could change your boundary which would effect the toolpath.
