Hello everyone.
I have just changed the motherboard of my Fanuc OT series lathe which was malfunctioning. I have the parameters list. Need assistance on the procedure to follow when inputting the parameters. What l have been doing so far has met with limited success. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Wen you hawe the problem with motherboard did you screen was blank and the machine will not start?
Did you bay new motherboard or did you hawe to send to the repair company?
Can you tell as the type off fanuc motherboad was?
We hawe the same problem on fanuc op-b punching machine murata wiedemann centrum
The scren will not start its blank no start in the machine

I can assist you in fault finding on your screen. Turn power on and check if if you are getting 24VDC on the power cable supplying power to the screen. If you are getting the 24VDC then your screen needs replacement.
As for my motherboard, l ordered one and they sent me one that was refurbished and tested in Japan. My screen showed this screen which means that your mother board is faulty

The procedure that l used is as follows:
Press reset + delete at the same time snd turn on power to clear memory.
Press E stop btton in.
Get into MDI mode.
Input the dpecisl setting parameter, the 900 codes, first.
On completion l turned off the machine isolator and then on again.
I then fed the rest if the parameters.
Not sure how yo proceed from there on coz the guys who were providing me eith dupport then decided that they won't assist any more fue to dome confidentiality clauses they have in thrir contracts etc.
Thats where l am stuck now.
