Is there any insert that will manage to bore up a 24mm hole to 26mm and relocate it 1mm, in a hardened steel that are close to 62 Hrc ?? Geometry of insert should be dcmt 11T3xx Thanks

i dont fully understand the relocate part, and what kind of tool are you using

Check with your supplier for a CBN insert in the DCMT style. CBN is expensive, but well worth it. If it is 1 piece, you might get away with carbide, running dry and slow. LIGHT cuts!!!

Sounds like you're trying to repair a part. Can you EDM? If it's a repair it may be less of a headache.... You could also look into ceramic in addition to CBN. They may be a little cheaper. There was a post recently about silicon nitride inserts in this forum. I believe they were from Ingersoll cutting tools. You may want to look into them as an alternative.

What do you mean with EDM?

You could easily offset the hole with an EDM where the interupted cut would be a little hard on an insert
