    Missing system folder

Have v25 , latest update , has been working fine, now I am having trouble with simulation - cnc edit . Win 8.1 , I noticed that the system folder is missing from the tree , tried to repair through the repair option in ad remove files , still no sys folder. Hey Al , you out there?

    Ed,

Could you please specify the specific issue you are having. The simulation is internal to BobCAD-CAM as of V25, so any issues with simulation will be separate from that particular item. As far as the CNC Editor, please click the link below to install the editor.

    Re: Missing system folder

Sean , the simulation screen comes up with all the tool bars , on the screen and I have to remove the ons I don't want . It never did that before , also when working with a profile , it will not accept and show a error , and these are paths I have used before with no problems. I have reinstalled v25 several times ( latest update ) , no better , when I look at the file tree , I see that there is no system file or folder on it . Should I remove and do a clean install , I have run a full scan , and no threats have come up. I have just purchased v29 Mill , but I need v25 to do my 3d moldings.

    Ed,

Download this utility and choose the simulation option. Reset the simulation UI with the simulation closed. See if it resolves the issue.

    Ed,

Weird, seemed to have lost the link for whatever reason. Give this one a try.

    Ed,

What sort of graphics card is that system running on? Is it a dedicated or integrated card?

Check your tool and toolholder definitions too in case they got corrupted. The simulation will crash at start (sometimes with an error message, sometimes not IME) if it doesn't like the tool & toolholder geometry.

    Ed,

Are you still having issues with the simulation crashing?
