Hey my first post!
Come on ya'll, give it up for Paul and cnczone.com!!!!!!
Sooo many rsg's in here.
So here's my bit, please throw in your thoughts.

Let's say you wanted to set a block of stock in the middle of your table and machine it to maximum depth from five(5) sides without moving your stock!

How would this be possible with a DIY cnc router?
Let's just pretend we are cutting air or foam here.

1. The router would need to be manually indexable into the four positions.
2. Each of the five(5) sides of the geometry are distinct in cam.
3. Indexing the router creates multiple machine configurations for the control software.
4. What about a circular y axis?
5. What about a circular x and y axis - a gyro cnc mofo.
That's it, a Gyro Router!
NASA has one, but they won't give it up like they did the dust buster

I would have deleted this post but did not see the option to do so.
Someone please nuke this for me.

I'll just float off into the sunset with a physics book in my saddle bag :O
