This is a friends laser cutter and I am trying to help him out with the problem he is having. He has tried dealing with the company he bought the machine from but they are giving him the runaround till the warranty is up. But anyway the machine trys to home but when about done there is a buzzing noise and axis jumps. The he jogs/moves the laser over the work and will only work good at slower speed. at higher speed it jumps and skips.

Like I said I am trying to help a friend out.

Is his proximity sensor(s) lighting up? What about the axis LEDs lights on or off or colors on the controller? What controller? He need to post himself with a very, very detailed post about machine specs, exactly what is happening when and how, an probably post video. Then people will be more inspired to help.

Ok. I will tell my friend to post but he is having problems with the company he bought the new machine from(not returning emails). I repair cnc machines and told him I will try to help him resolve these problems.
