    UCCNC Software Stuck in Demo Mode

    I've got a UC300ETH and purchased a license for their software that I am trying to get running. I've been talking with CNC Drive and they have been really helpful, although we're still not sure what's causing the issue. The board connects to my laptop properly and the license file was installed exactly as directed. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version just to make sure. Has anyone else come across this issue and found a way to fix it?

    Are you sure that the UC300 is connected? Is there a solid green LED on it before you start UCCNC?

    If you power up the UC300, and start UCCNC immediately, it will start in demo mode, because it takes about 5 seconds (on my PC) for the UC300 to connect to the network.

    If that's not the issue, then I'd say the license file is possibly not correct? Is it zipped by chance?

    The LED is solid green and I've used the utility to make sure its connected to the network. It could be possible that there's an error with the license file, however CNC drive sent me both a txt and a zipped file in case something got screwed up over email. Neither file works when it's copied into the directory.

    Turns out it was an issue with firmware.
