Hi everybody . i have some issue with my pilot arc. there is some problem with 400xd hypertherm.
when i run the machine .the torch goes down touch the material making gas test and the machine doesnt cut the material
no pilot arc and cutting arc .what does that cause about my problem. please help mee.

The electrode, and cover are ok?
The connector for high voltage (pilot arc) is clean?

I actually changed the consumable parts with new one. Rechecked the o2 and air.i got the pilot arc but i cant get the cutting arc.i have suspicious about my chopper board o the hypertherm unit

Pilot arc looks fine, but stops very quick. Check air pressure and filters. There may be aproblem with hv set.

It would be good you rechecked the electrical conections between table and machine and then checked the Open Circuito Voltage for sure.
Also check the parameters for pierce high.

+1 and if those check out, check the spark gap.

i found the problem. the problem was in the hose some copper from the watertube. it has been stuck inside the oxygen hose.i removed it and there was no any problem....
