Hello!

I am making my budget for software in 2017. MadCAM hasn't seen an update in a while and there are features still out sanding that I require. Granted I am an odd ball user so this isn't a critique of MadCAM but more me maybe moving on to other packages that better suit my needs.

What are MadCAM's planned features for 2017 and what kind of timeline are we looking at for releases? Of course inverse timing was a big deal but I have only added to my list of requirements like true 4 axis milling and not stock-on-a-spit kind of 2+1 rotary axis stuff of yesteryear.

I don't want to make any promises on behalf of Joakim, but I do know that there will be a version of madCAM to work with Rhino 6. I know there has been a lot of "chatter" on the official Rhino forum about plug-ins that are not moving forward with Rhino 6. T-splines and Autodesk Shape Modeler (formerly VSR) are two that will not make it to V6. Thankfully madCAM is not on that list. As far as what will be in madCAM 6, I will let Joakim address that when he is ready. I've worked with a few new features, but it's still early in the process. I'm not even sure Rhino 6 will make it into 2017!!

As far as I know there's a service release in progress and then it will be Rhino 6 as Dan wrote.
I've heard there are some new features and rework but not sure what is included in the release though.
