Using FTP to continuously use the same program name

    Hello.

We purchased Robordrill CNC machine with 30i controller.
We're use FTP connection and can read files normally. We're used to process gcode on the pc and then just process the file on a machine. We do not store any programs on the machine and just use bogus file names. Problem is that, when we read the program from the FTP, it saves it's name in the memory and we cant use the same file again. It usually takes us few "downloads" before the program is good and without errors so we now need to change it with every run. Is there a way to avoid this? We'd like to just use same file name and just override whatever is in memory. Is it possible?

    Thanks in advance!

Try setting (REP) Parameter 3201 bit #2 xxxxx1xx (where x is don't change).

REP Action in response to an attempt to register a program whose number is
the same as that of an existing program
0 : An alarm is generated.
1 : The existing program is deleted, then the new program is registered.
Note that if the existing program is protected from being edited, it is
not deleted, and an alarm is generated.
