Please post images of a brand new S6 or T130 laser tube

    Hello Everyone,

Is there anybody out there that might be able to photograph the ends of a 130watt 80mm dia. laser tube from Reci or SPT?
I purchased a tube and I am attempting to find out if I was sold a faulty tube, or a used/damaged tube or if it is infact new. I have nothing to compare to and there are very few detailed images online.

I am after close up, focused , well taken images of both the anode and the cathode as well as the emitters at each end that are inside the reaction tube.

I would be grateful if someone could help. In the mean time I will do what I can to help out whoever might need help themselves...

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers! SW

Thank you for the image. unfortunately I require images of both ends of the tube. I would like to see what the outer metal connector/jacket looks like and also the emitters inside the reaction chamber.

    Thank you again..!

I will attempt to make contact with you shortly.

    Thank you Emily.
Can you show side view image of anode and cathode?
If a tube is brand new and not used is there discoloration on cathode? yello color from heated metal? Thank you for sharing

    no Emily.
This is RECI tube.it is supposed to be new and never used. I bought it a year ago. I never energized it and now when I try.it does not lase. So i bought a junk tube. I dont know what chance I have for a warranty replacement as company I bought it from says...11 month warranty. Even though I never use it. I am sad.

I am sorry to hear this.

If some laser tube are not sealed very well, the laser tube leaks gas gradually. The laser tube power will be decreased gradually. People could not found this problem even they test it before sending out. That's why the laser tube die even if you don't use it.

If the laser tube is sealed well, you can still use it after storing two years.

    Thanks.
