Hi
i have a problem with my 4kw VFD with is a 4kw 18000rpm spindle
i can fine get the spindel to 18000 rpm and 300hz
but if i set the mach3 to 9000 rpm the the vfd is showing 174.5hz and not 150hz
and i have measured the pwm signal to 5v

now i have use two days and i cant find the error

Is your Spindle Air cooled or Water Cooled ???


PD014= you seem to have a high setting for this normally you can go as low as 3 so anywhere from 3 and up should work fine

PD015= you seem to have a high setting for this normally you can go as low as 3 so anywhere from 3 and up should work fine


Jumper J1 also must be set for Remote Control This is located next to the Terminal Block

PD011=120 Not 40 this is below the minimum speed for your spindle

PD70=0 ( This may need to be set to 1 if Control Voltage is 0-5v )

Yes that is the max setting for that Parameter PD144=3000=Max Spindle RPM what ever it is
