Any advantage to replacing DaVinci stepper motors?

I have a DaVinci that I upgraded with a Gecko G540 driver, Mach3, and ESS. I'm using the original power supply and stepper motors, seems to work just fine, altho the steppers seem noisy. I'm wondering if there would be any advantage to replacing the steppers, and if so why, and what would be recommended? I'm not interested in speed, just accuracy and reliability.
