Circuit for converting 2-channel quadrature to single channel

I need to convert a 2 channel (A and B phase) quadrature signal to single channel. The single channel should have double the frequency of the dual channel signals. Can anyone provide me with a circuit that does this?

Done all the time to increase the resolution to x2 or x4 by either using the the AB leading edges (x2) or both leading edges and trailing edges, (x4).
Are you interested in doing it with TTL logic?

    Yes. TTL logic

A XOR B, which is SN7486. Or you can make your own XNOR gate with an SN7400:
