Mastercam X5 - Ramp on contour

Been trying to figure out how to ramp on a contour move but am not able to find out how to accomplish.

I need to be able to control the DOC and when selecting "Ramp" in a contour move it doesn't allow for DOC, it's greyed out.

Ramping to full depth is not an option here...

    Any help would be appreciated.

your depth will be .016 for one pass of your contour. starts at 0 depth and ramps to your setting.

Ah, ok the ramp depth determines the increment and the linking parameter will set the total depth.

    Thanks for the assist.

It appears that TABS are not allowed with the RAMP process... what gives with that?

Correct tabs do not work with ramp.

    Thanks for the reply.

Can I ask how others needing tabs and ramping combined are completing the process when a contour is involved?

Am I attempting to do something that just doesn't need to be done, plunge the bit and move on...

I have not had a customer ask to be able to do this. but I would ramp it down say to .02 aboe the bottom and then do a 2d contours and turn on the tabes with square points.as one quick easy path.
