    New cnc school

    What type of equipment would you buy if you were starting CNC training at the college level. Right now we have a Haas vf1 and a Haas hl2 machining center and whole bunch of manual equipment. How much Manual verses CNC and how much CAD/Cam verses manual programming.

    i couldn t specify what kind of balance you should have but i do beleave a good amount of manual machinery is essential in teaching the basic funtions of a mill or lathe ,manual machining takes skill as does cnc , manual and cnc are different though in the end are the same beast , ive seen far to many guys running cnc who lack the basic skills and truely understand the machines they are working with
