CNC Machinist Level 2 - Relocation Assistance Provided

Description
A. Program and set up large and small parts on Vertical & Horizontal CNC mills, CNC Lathes, and many other various machine tools.
B. Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T). Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
C. Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Interface with machines in G-code using Fanuc, Okuma, or Dynapath controllers.
D. Must be a team player.
E. Works with little or no supervision and is able to make decisions that follow company goals and guidelines.
F. Is completely dependable (dependability is crucial).
G. Safety is a must and employee follows all company mandated rules and regulations.
H. Employee sets a good working example for team members and all employees to follow.
I. May be asked to instruct, train and monitor progress of CNC Machinist Level 1.
J. Employee has excellent communication skills and work ethics.
K. Works overtime and weekends as required.
L. Employee has all tools needed for the profession.
M. Handles daily problems with positive solutions.
N. Interfaces well with coworkers at all levels and departments and maintains a positive attitude.
O. Generates clear and effective company reporting (i.e., discrepancy, test, trip, expense, etc.).
P. Employee puts out advanced quality and quantity work which exceeds non-journeyman machinists.
Q. Study blue prints and drawing to determine method and sequence of operations needed to manufacture parts.
R. Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machining
S. Design tooling and make CNC machine programs on Geopath Cad/Cam software.
T. Set up and adjust machine for operation, monitor speeds and feeds during machining process.
U. Perform self inspections of parts to ensure they meet print specifications.
V. Fill out job Traveler, Time Sheets, Inspection Documents and any other paperwork associated with part.
W. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Knowledge
A. Knowledge and understanding of standard quality control practices.
B. Full understanding of all processes, procedures and safety risk associated with manufacturing.
C. Must be fork lift certified and understand all safety rules and procedures in proper use of lifts, overhead cranes and tools.

Education/Experience
A. GeoPath programming experience a must.
B. Must have custom fixture experience and experience in set-up of large parts.
C. High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years machining experience.
D. Must have a strong background in Mathematics, CNC Programming, and general Machining
