just picked up a used Roland EGX-30A off ebay.
it powers up then goes to top middle area and stops.
then green lite starts blinking on scribe

arrow buttons and other controls have no control on it.

trying to get info from Roland but its slow

anyone have this similar problem?

I have a MDX-40A, a milling machine. When I power it up it performs a similar process as part of its initiation. Then I control it from my computer through Roland's software.

Do you have the Roland software package and user manual?

The Roland UK user forum has been very helpful for me to get my used machine up and running. Easy to search the forum. Replies are pretty quick to questions.
