A fiber laser is a special type of solid state laser. Generally, fiber lasers are optically pumped. This is done by coupling the radiation of diode laseers or other fiber lasers into the cladding or the core itself in a direction parallel to the fibr
core. In many cases, double clad fibers are used in order to achieve higher output power.

Cutting thickness is related to laser power.
300W: 1.5mm stainless steel, 4mm carbon steel
500W: 3mm stainless steel, 6mm carbon steel
1000W: 5mm stainless steel, 12mm carbon steel
2000W: 10mm stainless steel, 18mm carbon steel
Note: only 1KW or above fiber laser could cut Aluminum, Copper, Brass and other high reflection sheet metal.

<1KW: Raycus made in China or SPI / IPG made in Germany
≥1KW: Raycus/Maxphotonics/ IPG made in Germany

7. How to choose among different models?
1) Belt transmission with stepper motor for advertisement and light industries purpose, both 300 and 500W could be installed.
LF3015C: standard model with 300W
LF3015G: protection cover is added based on F2513C.



2) Ball screw with servo motor transmission
LF3015C: standard model with 500W
LF3015CR: pipe cutting function is added based on M3015C.
LF3015G: protection cover is added based onLF3015G.

3) Rack & Pinion with dual motors driving
LF3015C: standard model with 500W, 750W or 1000W
