Lightbulb Emco F1 CNC milling machine stop working in x and y coordinates

Emco F1 CNC milling machine stop working in x, y and Z coordinates, (rotation is good)

    Hello!
If somebody knows what can be a solution for my problem, please reffer to me here. What I can do to diagnostic where is a problem? I am only operator as machinist. I have no experience in electrical stuff. Problem dont start as collision with material. Problem start after cold period of time (30 days in winter time)....What can be a problem:devious:
So I dont ask for solution in CNC mode- JOG mode is problem. Motor in x, y and Z coordinates stop working both.
    Maybe carbon brushes is answer???
    Thanks in advance

I have no idea if you ever fixed this problem.

I would think that the power supply for your stepper motors has failed.

    Hello,

I think the problem is the CPU, after 30 days in winter time you may have condensation or a defective capacitor.

This problem is described in the maintenance-manual which you can download. Look for "emco compact 5 maintenance manual"

For testing if you have condensation simply remove the back of the electric cabinet and look for moisture and you can remove
the moisture with an heater or hair dryer, air gun but don't overheat the electronic.
You must reset the machine after heating.

If you have no moisture make the same and if it starts working it is the defective capacitor.

There are no brushes in a stepper motor.

    Hallo,

Measure first all voltages (5V, 10V, 40V etc.) on your power supply in the cold condition and then in normal condition when the machine works
to be sure the power supply is OK. The measuring points are stamped on the PS-board.
Have you made the test by drying with a heater?
