like a idiot i have gone and got a cnc lath cheep and now i am stuck the chuck when closed tells the machine it is open so i cannot get a run cycle to run
as far as i can see it needs a parameter to change
does eny one have a way of fixing this

Try the in side clamp switch first

I have looked for a switch there does not seem to be one on the front panel or in the back panel.
also i found that if you index to tool 1 it goes to tool 2 is this fixable or do i program around it

Hi all now i must be a person looking for punishment got my lg 81 up and running after it has stood for 2 years in the back .
Put power and every thing is there programs and offsets .
Z axis not moving will sort it this week.
It has a 3t control and no switch for OD--ID clamping

Well atleast you have the 0T control. You have a led with the label chuck unclamp. What happens when you clamp te chuck ? And it looks like you have lost some of the parameters.

Hi when i push the peddle to switch it on the light on the panel comes on and the machine goes into a not ready state.
I have got one way of fixing by changing the hydraulic pipes on the machine but it must be a different way of doing it .
The perimeters have just been put back in and all seems to work.

There should be a key switch for the chuck. On my mori i have it around the hydraulic unit

Hi
I fixed the chucking problem all i did was change the pipes on the draw bar unit working now.
So far so still no work been done on the mach i have not been able to program in mdi so i cant set the tools

does some one know why
